DPS micro-savings: why small installments compound into goals

Pulse Save plans turn monthly discipline into visible progress — home, education, or emergency funds.

A Deposit Pension Scheme–style (DPS) plan is simply scheduled saving with a published rate and a tenure. You choose an installment — $50, $100, $250 — and a horizon such as 12, 24, or 36 months.

The psychology matters: a due date and a progress ring beat “I will save whatever is left.” Fund from available balance on schedule and watch the tracker fill.

Use DPS for goals with a date: school fees, a security deposit, or a business float. Keep daily spending in checking so the two jobs stay separate.

If cash gets tight one month, open a support ticket early rather than missing multiple installments. Operators can advise on options based on your plan rules.

Combine DPS with an FDR when you later want to lock a lump sum that has already grown.
